SWAY

Campaign 01 · Production

Put your name on a film that gets made either way.

SWAY shoots for one day in San Antonio on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The entire budget is published further down, line by line. There is no platform taking a cut and no threshold to clear. We keep what we raise, and the money decides the scale, not whether it happens.

01 Contribute

Pick a tier or type your own number. Everything above credit and access is deliberately capped, because a perk we cannot deliver is worse than no perk at all.

No platform in the middle.

This page is not on GoFundMe or Kickstarter. Payment runs straight through PayPal to the film’s own account, so there is no platform cut on top of the card processing, and no campaign that can be cancelled by someone else’s policy team. What PayPal charges is on the receipt as line 09.

We publish the running total, not individual amounts. What any one person gave stays between them and the film.

You will be sent to PayPal to finish. Card payment works without a PayPal account. Contributions are not tax-deductible: this is support for an independent film, not a charitable donation. Questions, or a change to how you are credited: josephgarza030219@gmail.com

02 Where every dollar goes production budget

A receipt, not a wish list.

Most short-film campaigns ask for a round number and explain it in a paragraph. This is the actual sheet. Each line is a thing that has to be paid for on or before November 7, and the total is the goal. There is no line item called “miscellaneous” doing quiet work.

The money sits in a bank account opened for this film and nothing else, so the statement is the ledger. After the shoot we post the real receipts against these lines. If a number here turns out to be wrong, you will be able to see that it was wrong.

If we come up short, the first things cut are rental days and art department materials, and we will say so publicly rather than quietly shooting a smaller film.

One thing worth saying out loud. These figures are the production’s current estimates, not signed quotes. Processing is a real line on the receipt rather than a footnote, which is why the goal sits a little above what the film itself costs: the production still gets its full budget, and PayPal gets what PayPal takes.
